About New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is a program designed to assist you with your transition to the Island University. You are required to attend New Student Orientation prior to enrollment if you have been admitted as a freshman.

Registration has started! These are the upcoming program dates.

  • June 7-8, 2012
  • June 21-22, 2012
  • June 28-29, 2012
  • July 12-13, 2012
  • July 19-20, 2012
  • August 9-10, 2012
  • August 13-14, 2012

At Orientation, you will:

  • Register for classes
  • Meet with representatives from your Academic College
  • Discuss university services and resources
  • Learn about student involvement opportunities
  • Tour the campus and on-campus housing facilities
  • Interact with other new and current students

FYI Bridge Program Dates

  • June 27, 2012
  • August 8, 2012

*Students will select their Bridge Program and New Student Orientation date simulaneously in the system.
