for Islander parents
The transition into college can be both an exciting and challenging endeavor for you and your child. For some, this may be your first child to leave home, while for others this may be the third or fourth child you have sent off to college. In any case, it is likely that you are experiencing a world of different emotions and have many questions regarding your child's welfare and future at A&M-Corpus Christi. To assist you with those questions, we have provided some helpful links and information below that are pertinent to your concerns as a parent.

| Receiving refunds All new students will receive a HigherOne Easy Refund Card in the mail to manage any refunds they receive from the Business Office. | Providing the comforts of home The Islander Moms is an organization that is not exclusively for moms, but was created by moms of Islander students. The object of the Islander Moms is to promote the welfare and happiness of the students attending A&M-Corpus Christi and to cooperate with the faculty of the University in maintaining high standards of moral conduct and intellectual attainment. | Fostering your student's academic success It's important for parents to take the lead in fostering their students' academic success. The Parents' Council is a group of over 700 Islander parents whose mission is to involve Islander families in campus activities which promote the University, enrich the college experience for both students and parents, and enhance the communication between families and A&M-Corpus Christi while supporting the University's financial needs.
