First-year students, mark your calendars because you must attend First Wave required programming on August 18th. Details will be sent to your Islander email before the event.

First Wave is an extended orientation for first-year students to assist in their transition to TAMU-CC. Required programming will take place on the Tuesday before the fall semester starts. The mission of the program is to jump-start campus engagement and establish new support systems by building connections with students, faculty, and staff for improved student success. Students will have the opportunity at First Wave to meet their classmates and learn about the classes they will be taking together this fall.
